25th anniversary

On August 15 we were honoured to be hosted by Their Excellencies, Governor-General of New Zealand, The Rt Hon Dame Cindy Kiro GNZM, QSO and her husband Dr Richard Davies, for an evening reception marking 25 years of New Zealand Blood Service. It was a touching and poignant night, bringing together donors, recipients, and a number of New Zealand Blood Service staff who have worked for NZBS since its 1998 inception.

OFFICIAL PARTY (L-R): New Zealand Blood Service Chief Medical Officer Dr Sarah Morley, Dr Richard Davies, Rt Hon Dame Cindy Kiro, New Zealand Blood Service CEO Sam Cliffe, and New Zealand Blood Service Board Chair Fiona Pimm.
