TJ's story

My son was the recipient, not myself.
At 4 months old, TJ had a hemangioma erode to the point where we could not control the bleeding.
At Hutt Hospital, he received a blood transfusion to counteract the result until it could be removed.
We don't know who donated the blood that saved his life - but we are forever grateful.
He is now a healthy, happy (very mischievous!) one year old - with only a scar on his shoulder remaining!
