Angela: Make someday today

I first gave blood after I had shingles. I heard that they could use my antibodies to make a serum to help immunocompromised patients. As a mum it was the thought that I could specifically help child oncology patients that really drove me.
For me personally it helped to turn a really hard time around into something positive. It was great for getting me "out of my own head".
I encourage anyone who can to donate blood. You just have to book that appointment, otherwise it stays on the list of things to do "someday". Make someday today!!
