Amazing Story

Bruce's Story

Bruce Cawley 81st donation cropped
In the 1970s, Bruce's brother had a serious bike accident; he lost an arm.

Overnight, Bruce became a blood donor, and has been donating ever since.

Likewise, people who heard about the accident in their hometown of Oamaru came to donate blood in support too.

Bruce has just made his 81st donation and is a champion for donating blood, encouraging his colleagues and others to give blood.

Thank you, Bruce, for your amazing contributions.
