Amazing Story
Linda says thank you

Back in May 2017 my husband had a major haemorrhage after an ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography) to remove a stone blocking his common bile duct. He was monitored half-hourly overnight and received 7 units of blood before the medical team could get the bleeding under control. It was the scariest 12 hours of our lives, but thanks to many generous donors, he has made a full recovery. My daughter and I are planning to become donors next time NZ Blood are in our area. We missed out last time due to other commitments.
