25 donations and counting!

I have just completed my 25th donation and started 12 years ago. I was asked through work if I wanted to donate and decided it was a great idea and was totally for me. I've donate blood 17 times and plasma 7 times now.

I started with donating blood (17 times) but just made my 7th plasma donation and will keep doing this due to the fact I can donate more regularly than blood. The facility in Christchurch is top notch and the staff amazing. I use the app to manage my appointments and happily attend appointments mainly in the early evenings. My fiance tries to time his blood donation the same day as me and we carpool. If you have ever thought about donating but feel unsure, contact the blood service for a friendly chat.
