Why Kathy donates

I started as a blood donor at Teachers College in the late 1970s like Loretta, another donor. It's a way to serve the community and save lives. I donated while living in PNG where there is a desperate need. I had to wait 5 or 6 years before I could donate again after returning to NZ. It was like Christmas when I got the all clear! Anyone in good health can be a donor. Get out there and do it, be a life saver!
