For Tessa it's a win win!

I have never been a big fan of needles, so never thought about giving blood.

A few years ago I ran my first marathon at the age of 51. I was amazed at the volunteers and how amazing they were. I now try and give back where I can and try to volunteer once a month.

This got me to thinking about giving blood. My work participates in this and i thought....what better way to overcome my fear of needles and to be able to help someone....Win Win :)

It is never too late to start :)
