Danica's donor story

One of the first times I donated blood, it was my best friends birthday and it was on her list of things she wanted to do that day because "what's a better thing to do on your birthday then potentially save someone's life?". 10 years later I try and donate regularly, with my first plasma donation booked in today! Because how better to spend a little part of your day then potentially saving someone's life?

Also - the staff at the donation clinics are amazing! They are so friendly, attentive and welcoming. As someone who does not love needles they are also reassuring and make the process as painless and enjoyable as it could possibly be. I can't thank them enough for all they do.
