Amazing Story

Robert has myelo fibrosis

NZ Blood WBD 2011 11
I have a bone marrow disease called myelo fibrosis. This caused my bone marrow to not produce red blood cells. So for the last 3.75 years I have been transfused 2 to 3 units of red blood cells on a 4 weekly basis. I am lucky that the disease I have is at the lower end of the spectrum. Thanks to all who donate.
